Aug 31 2020 Here for sale is my beautiful little Centec 2B Milling Machine. I’ve had this for years now but it has only enjoyed minimum use. The ER32 collet chuck is included but without collets. The Arbour for horizontal milling as well as the two drawbars a few milling cutters the ‘C’ spanner head oil and paperwork are included too.
Back in its day when iron workers riveted hot rivets it was totally hot I mean the whole rivet was orange. Which means when it was struck it would deform equally. The problem you are going to have by heating a little rivet like the ones you are doing on the end will allow one end of the rivet to deform before the rest in the orifice does.

Jun 03 2011 I alleviated the drill bit problem by using a ball end mill to plunge cut instead of a drill. Just make sure your stop is set a little short. Also get a collet set as the drill chuck is huge.

Nov 06 2014 Never had one....I use a ball peen hammer to peen over the rivet the back side must be supported with a solid bit of metal...heavy steel rod or pipe will work inside the boiler. If you have a large nail set that may help shape the outside of the rivet. You can doctor it with a drill or ball end mill
Small rivets can be set cold. I commonly head 316 rivets cold but this needs to be done on the anvil where there is plenty of support.
